Vintage K-D Manufacturing No. 429 Hose Clamp Pliers – FREE SHIPPING (#900-503) Click images to enlarge Description Offered is a vintage automotive tool made by K-D Tools in the late 1950’s and 1960’s. This tool is the “K-D Manufacturing No. 429 Hose Clamp Pliers” or as they were called in one catalog we saw, the “Latching Corbin hose-clamp pliers”. It has a four-position thumb latch. K-D Manufacturing began in 1918 as a partnership between Harry W. Kulp and Martin C. Dellinger and the company began production from a home workshop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dimension/size – these pliers are a little more than 8” long. Condition – these pliers are in vintage working condition. The previous owner’s initials are etched in several places.
