2 Vintage 700c Hi-E Racing Road Bike Tubular Rims 36 Hole for Sew Up Tubular Tires This is a Pair of Used Very Cool, Super light Vintage Hi-E 700c Tubular Rims off a early high end Road Racing Bicycle. Rims are 36 hole 700c / 622 and approximately 21mm wide outside and for Presta valve tubular / sew up racing tires. Rim weighs approximately 240 grams each. That’s super light, probably way too light as one rim looks to be pushed to it’s limit. Rims are used, some nicks, scratches, & wear, brake surface wear, some decal loss, could use a detailing. One Rim is Nice and pretty solid, The other was over tightened, shows aggressive brake surface wear, eyelet pull, and a tad out of shape in one spot. As stated probably way to light and for limited high end racing. The Nice rim may be ridable the other is NOT. Rims can be used for a restoration that will not be used. They are super light and cool. I have included plenty of pictures for your inspection. Auction is for a Pair of rims, that’s 2 rims. 36 hole Rims are for glue on tubular sew up tires.
