(The models in the first photo were built by John Bissinger. We all knew him as RatRod and the photo was used with his kind permission. Sadly, John passed away in July 2017. All modelers lost a friend in John, but I gained a new friend in John’s best friend Chuck. Hiya Chuck!The “Holy Grail” of sell sheet pairings ! The original Revell “sister” kits were the ULTIMATE in 1960’s Funny Car kits and are quite rare these days. Rarer still are the original 1967 Dealer Sell Sheets of those two classic kits! Offered here is a pair of sell sheet reprints of those two great kits. Sell sheets were not available to the general public. They were provided to hobby shop owners to help promote the sale of soon-to-be-released kits. I still remember when I was a kid, standing at the counter of Stu De Jong’s Hobby Shop in the old Roseland neighborhood of Chicago and thumbing through Stu’s 3-ring binder full of sell sheets. Man! I just about soiled myself when I first saw THESE two! You occasionally see one of the original vintage kits for sale here. They always command a good price. You’ll rarely see one of these original vintage sell sheets for sale. Not very often, but every once in a great while. But BOTH sell sheets for sale together at the same time as a pair?! WOW! I have been eBay-ing since 2002 and I have NEVER seen them both offered for sale together!(and make sure you check out the IMC Little Red Wagon Wheelstander dealer sell sheet re-print I have listed too) Here’s your chance to own two frame-able pieces of Revell history from what was truly the golden age of car modeling! Each high DPI print comes on Canon, 53 lbs, Glossy, 8.5″ by 11″ photo paper printed right to the edge just like the originals were. Each comes from a high-resolution master scan of an original, vintage sell sheet which was then digitally enhanced for highest quality imaging. Suitable for framing. I’m offering these digitally remastered reprints so others can proudly display these two great sell sheets with their model collection as I do mine.
