sdk Otter OTTER Solo Door Knocker in Bronze Item: Wonderful Otter, River Otter Solo Door Knocker , individually lost wax cast in Bronze. VERY RARE! I have just started these, in response to LOTS of requests from my clients for Larger Door Knockers, so very few have EVER been made! Low relief (bas-relief) full body animals hinged on a striker plate. Two oval head screws are provided to fit in the two holes in the backplate, which is about 4″ high x 1 1/4″ wide, and the dimensions of the animals vary with breed. These are substantial knockers, suitable for exterior or interior doors. Oval head screws included. Makes a great gift! Very few of these have EVER been made! I am making more dogs and animals in this format, and you might consider getting more. Please let me know if you are looking for an animal or dog that I have not yet made! I am the ONLY one who makes these. Any of these items are also available with a coppery brown patina, or with nickel plating. There is a small fee for adding a patina and an additional charge for nickel plating. Nickel plating takes additional time as the pieces have to be sent out for plating. Please contact me for charges. Nickel Plated Wild Boar (Boar’s Head) Large Door Knocker with a Bronze one. Horse Vertical Pulls, patina, bronze, nickel plating I hand carve (in wax) and cast (in bronze) each of these special pieces by the “lost wax” method. Of course each piece is signed and copyrighted.
