Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE LOT 2 VINTAGE BOYD’S BEARS RESIN FIGURES THE COLLECTOR & FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS This sale is for a lot of two (2) vintage Boyd’s Bears resin figurines. The first is a darling bear holding a magnifying glass and posing as a collector of antiques. Boyd’s title for this piece is: “The Collector.” It is Style # 227707 and is a limited edition piece with the edition number being 14E/2625. The bottom of the figurine is dated 1998. The second one is a 20th Anniversary Limited Edition piece from 1999. It is a family of bears and the piece has a title on the front that reads: “The Family.” Boyd’s title for this piece is – “Gary, Tina, Matt & Bailey…From Our Home to Yours.” It is Style # 227804 and this one is August # 543. The bottom of the figurine is dated 1999. I do believe these are probably a retired pieces but honestly was unable to find any information on this piece or any confirmation of this. Regardless, they are charming and they come from a smoke free home. The photos with this listing are of the actual items you will receive. Please be sure to read the “AGE AND Condition” and “Approximate Dimensions” paragraphs below. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. Our store has many unique and interesting items in several different categories from 35 years of our dealing and collecting antiques and collectables. Age and Condition The figures date to 1998 & 1999 respectively. The resin figurines are both in mint original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of these two items. There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, repairs or any obvious signs of use or wear to either of the figurines. Both are still packaged in the original boxes and all the original packaging materials are still there including the poly bags and the little printed COA paper inserts. The original boxes are a little dinged up on the corners and the “Collector” box is staring to come apart at the corner joint and the corrugated paper is starting to delaminate there as well. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. Approximate Dimensions The “Collector” figure is about 3.5” (8.9 cm) side to side and about 3.5” (8.9 cm) front to back and sits about 4.25” (10.8 cm) off the table at its highest point. The “From Our Home to Yours” figure is about 5.5” (14 cm) side to side and about 4.75” (12.1 cm) front to back and sits about 4.75” (12.1 cm) off the table. Approximate Weight About 1 pound 14.375 ounces (866 grams) for the two, not counting the boxes & packaging. PAYMENT, SHIPPING, Insurance & PACKAGING If you do not send an instant payment through PayPal, I will send you an invoice within 24 hours of the end of the auction. PayPal is my preferred method for receiving funds and payment is expected within 3 days of the completion of the auction. I will normally ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment in my PayPal account. Shipment will be via the USPS. I estimate shipping costs at the time of listing and any difference between my estimated cost and actual will be refunded back to you after the sale is completed.
