This series of SRT-MC Minoltas were specifically manufactured for the US Department Store market by Minolta. Essentially it is a cross between a SRT100 and SRT101. The MC had no self timer, but a self timer was added to the MCii (this camera). The camera is in very good condition indeed. The body has some very fine scuff marks but no scratches or dents. The base plate shows the normal fine scratch marks. The little black plastic cover of the film advance lever is missing, but hardly noticeable. Overall appearance is very good. The shutter is snappy and it functions pretty well at all shutter speeds. We can obviously not guarantee accuracy. We could not test the light meter since we do not have a battery for this. The 28mm F2.8 Albinar lens is clear and free from haze, scratches and fungus. There is no dust in the lens. Focus and aperture movements are silky smooth. Comes with a 52mm UV filter. One seldom finds them in this condition, so do not miss this one! This camera was film tested during December 2021 with a roll of Foma 100 B&W film. Our developer chemicals were a bit depleted, causing a bit too much grain. Hand developed. Here are some of the photos: Shipped with tracked international service.
