LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) For your consideration is a Wilesco D16 made in Germany in the 1970s. This Live Steam Engine is in excellent condition.It is complete, except for the original box that is missing.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam. A few things to report : – The base for the whistle was loose and had to be re-soldered (photo). – The spring belt between the main pulley and the governor needs to be attached better (photo). (this is not a difficult job, but it does require an eyesight and hand steadiness that I do not possess anymore). – The little condensation tray is not original (but it looks like the original one and does the job). You will need some solid fuel (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is highly recommended. This model is still in production, with some modifications.
